VIDEO: Blast From The Past: Nel Oliver- Baby girl

Aww do you still remember this song? Omg I remember I was young and didn’t really know the lyrics but I remembered whenever the song was played, we will cry and rhyme to it. Was driving home late this night and decided to tune into 90.9top radio and the song came up. Couldn’t wait till I got home and a quick google gave me all the answers I needed. I am sure you will appreciate this song. Enjoy the video, lol.

  20. Oh Ladun, if you were young when this song was out then am your big sister.
It's Yoruba Ajase/Egun of the Cotonou people. Those dishes in the video clip for the bride are called abo ajase. In the Ajase culture, a bride must have at least one set.
I loved the song as my French was amateur then and my husband understood some of the lyrics.
