The Devil Disguised As Maid

This happened in Zimbabwe but I have decided to post it because I know a lot of women who have kids read this blog. I also know they have house helps, you can tell from their comments, lol. So please read and trust no maid.

In a bloodcurdling incident, a domestic worker from Gwabalanda suburb in Bulawayo Zimbabwe betrayed her employer's trust when she was allegedly caught sucking blood from the nose of her employer's four-year-old child.

The mother (name withheld to protect the identity of the child) revealed that she got a tip-off from her neighbour after she had heard her child screaming in pain at the same time every day. Sinanzeni Moyo, employed as a baby-sitter, had worked for the woman for two months. Click to continue.

"A neighbour came to me one weekend asking about my relationship with Sinanzeni(the maid). I told her that she was doing her duties well and the only problem we had was that my daughter was afraid of her," said the mother of the baby.

The neighbour reportedly informed her that every day at around 9am, she usually would hear her daughter screaming.

"We then agreed that on Monday, I will unexpectedly return home at around nine to check on what would be taking place to my daughter. I kept quiet about the matter and on Monday I got home at around 9.15am and proceeded to the bedroom. As fate would have it, my daughter was crying loud such that Sinanzeni never heard me opening the doors. I caught her busy sucking blood from my daughter's nostrils," she explained.

The baffled woman said she shouted at the maid but she continued 'feasting' on the child's blood and only stopped when she hit her with an open hand on the face.

"Surprisingly, Sinanzeni pretended as if everything was okay and before I could ask her what she was doing, she threatened me. She told me that I should never say a word to anyone about the incident if ever I still wanted to see another day with my daughter. In the evening, I visited my neighbour and told her what I had discovered. When we confronted the maid about the issue, she walked out on us saying she did not owe us any explanation," said the child's mother.

The neighbour confirmed the incident, adding that they suspected that Sinanzeni gave them wrong details and her phone was no longer reachable.

"I guess that maid was a Satanist and now we do not even know where to look for her and her phone is unreachable. At least she left that family alive," said the neighbour

  1. I dont know if I believe stories like this but my mom told me of an old neighbor of ours who lost one of their daughters. The story is eerily similar. The two kids will cry at the same time everyday right after school. A nosey neighbor looked thru the shutters and saw the househelp had transformed into a snake and was slitthering all around the children almost binding them together. The snake felt a presence and quickly changed back. The neighbor ran and called the mom who called the dad. They decided not to confront her directly and called some powerful imams and pastors in the area. When she was finally begged and told they know her secret, she told them she will need to take 1 of the kids with her. She packed her belongings and one of the kids died the night she left. My big sister has 3 helps around her home but till this day if one of us blood relatives are not with her children she wont go out. scary stuff

    1. The snake story has been around forever. I don't know how true it is

I'm with your sister on this. I never feel comfortable leaving my kids with househelps. Rather, I drive round with them if I have to run errands when they are not in school or drop them off in a relative's place

    2. Pple can say what they like. I'm a stay @ home mum. I have 3 kids under 6yrs old. In d name of being a help mate, I used to work in d island sometime ago. Wit Lagos traffic, I liv home early & get back late. My kids were @ d mercy of my maid. Feeding, getting them ready to school, homework, being wit them wen they r sick. I asked myself what r my doing, I resigned, I'm wit them now. I do a little biz @ d side & I'm happy. Training my kids & not wondering what d maid is doing wit them.

To mothers I suggest the following

1.Pray before your recuirt….no matter how desperately you need a nanny to start work asap. Prayer without works is dead so the below points may help too

2 Get a hidden camera like I do………..mine is a clock with the camera hidden in the centre where the minute and hours hand meet. You can purchase this on line. If you are based in naija, ask someone abroad to buy one for you

    3. Randomly at least once per month come home unexpectedly or ask your husband or family to stop by unannounced while you are at work.

4 if something doesn’t feel right in your home , it probably isn’t. if you child says many times I do not like her PLEASE listen to your child

    God dey

  8. A nannycam is a must have for families with nannies. Also if your child(ren) doesn't like her, then let her go! Children are usually very sensitive.

  10. This is silly.

Many maids in Nigeria routinely suck mucus out of a small child's nose when e child has blocked nostrils and cannot blow it out themselves.

It therefore follows logic that if the child had a nosebleed the same scenario occurred.

  16. People need to be prayerful oh.....Many, many years ago, As a teenager, my neighbour had this house-help, a nice attractive girl. Her junior brother sampled the girl and made it known to us horny teenagers that the girl was sweet. I was interested till one night I saw her in my dream with just a white cloth wrapped around her body.

Omo, dem no need to tell me twice to dey 'bone' the girl henceforth.

We are so careful with her dealings with strangers in this Nigeria but yet, readily accept strangers into our home and worse, entrust them with our kids.

People, be prayerful concerning hired helps o.....

    1. and you think it is ok to molest male children? and it won't mess them up? what kind of person are you? child abuse is child abuse, whether a child is male or female!

STOP CHiLD ABUSE! PRAY for all the children of the world...that they will always be protected, both from strangers and abusive blood relatives.

  22. Are you surprised at Sugabelly? Found my way to her blog for the first and last time yesterday. All the fuck this fuck that just confirms the type of person she is. Yep she was angry but why not blot out the curse words.
For her comment here it just shows she has a pea brain. Hope your nannies suck the mucous out of your kids nostrils. As for nose bleeds yep kids don't have that. Ode.
