I Will Perform Better in 2013 - GEJ

President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, asked Nigerians to expect a more improved outing for the country in 2013, and said that by next year, his government was determined to bring desired changes on security, power, aviation and other areas of national life.

Speaking at the Presidential Christmas Carol held at the Banquet Hall of the presidential villa, Jonathan enjoined Nigerians to avoid the things that would lead to division of the country and embrace unity and peaceful co-existence.

“I urge Nigerians to, in the spirit of Christmas, embrace peace. The wars will not save us. Christ brought peace to free everybody. We have challenges, but we have everything in place to overcome them.

“In the New Year, we will see the changes in the airports, seaports, power and security as we progress. Surely, 2013 will be a better year for the country”, he said.

  3. They still held Christmas carol with the jagajaga state of the nation. Only God knows how many billions it cost.

No need to perform better, clueless fisherman. Let 2014 get here fast so your black arse can be sent back to Otuoke, with your permanently overdressed Perm Sec wife.

  6. He should have just kept quiet rather than making promises he lacks the capacity to fulfill. Nobody really expects much from him again...

  14. What about changes for the rural majority who have no food to eat, who can't. Go to school talkless of going without shoes. Wat about the poor people who can't even enjoy basic needs. Don't think yu can use dis statement to get us to vote for yu come 2015(cos I heard rumours)cos we won't make dat mistake again.
