Friends Let Yekini Down- Ex-wife

A former wife of Rashidi Yekini, Adeola, has said that many of those who were close to the late Super Eagles star did little to avert his death. Yekini died on Friday.
The Osogbo-based mother of Yekini’s second daughter, Mariam, was at her former husband’s burial ceremony at Ira, Kwara State, on Saturday, and wondered why Yekini’s friends allowed his health to deteriorate without raising an alarm.
She said, “We were married with a daughter but we stayed away from each other after the divorce. Despite the separation, I visited him regularly each time I came to Ibadan before his death. We had arguments but it was because of the way he was living. Click to read the rest...

Don Jazzy Sets Up New Record Label… Calls It Mavin Records

After the breakup of Mo’hits and all the drama that came with it, Don Jazzy has finally settled down to establish his own record label, Mavin. His brother D’prince has already changed his name on twitter from D’princemohits to D’princemavin. The shocker however is that, Tiwa Savage make up the group of the five new members which are, Don Jazzy himself, Wande Coal, Dr Sid, D’prince and Tiwa. A compilation album featuring all the acts will be released on the 8ht of May. Need we say more?

Meet The Largest Family Of Achondroplasia Dwarfs

To the world they may look different from everyone else. But for the Johnston family, the only difference between them and everyone else is that they are a little smaller. Amber and Trent Johnson, from Barnesville, Georgia, and their five children are the largest family of achondroplasia dwarfs, with a type of dwarfism that affects the extremities.
They call themselves 'the real life seven dwarfs' and embrace their size, and say they 'strive to raise their children in the world that's not built for them'. Trent came from a family of dwarfs, but Amber's family were full size. They knew there was a possibility that their first child could be full size, but at 31 weeks discovered Jonah also had achondroplasia dwarfism.

Another Nollywood Actress Dies

Nollywood has again lost one of its own, as Cassandra Gabriel a popular face on Face2face, a TV programme died yesterday. It is believed she died of a cancer related disease. May Sisi Carol has she is fondly called rest in peace. Amen.

The late striker was buried this afternoon according to Islamic rites at his home town. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

Boko Haram Threatens To Bomb Lagos And Abuja in 72hours

Biko we need God’s intervention. This is Nigeria and not Afghanistan.
In a phone call to the editor of Africa Independent Television (AIT) yesterday evening, Boko Haram threatened to unleash bomb attacks in Lagos and Abuja in another 72hours, unless President Goodluck Jonathan appears on AIT for an open discussion with the sect. The phone call was broadcasted on AIT news at 8pm last night.
