Gombe Governor Escapes Death in Auto Crash

The convoy of Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo was involved in a fatal crash yesterday night along the Gombe-Yola highway. The accident killed one person and left six others wounded.

They were returning to the state capital after the Governor went to inspect some on-going projects at Shingom Local Government Area. It was learnt that a speeding pickup ran into the Governor's convoy, but he escaped unhurt.
