You have heard about PDP’s presidential candidate’s promises to Nigerians if elected, you have heard about that of APC’s candidate, but you haven’t heard that of AD, Dr. Rafiu Salau, the presidential candidate of the Alliance for Democracy
Today Dr. Rafiu Salau, while unfolding his manifesto in an interview with NAN in Abuja said, if he is elected, part of what he will do is to create 2 million jobs and boost the economy of the country.
“First, a minimum of 70 per cent of the exploration of the crude oil in the nation must be done by local companies.
“Whatever the profit made by local companies will be invested in the economy of the nation. This will go a long way in increasing the revenue that will be generated in the industry.
This is no joke, if you have the interest of Nigeria at heart, then you must read this. If you think you can’t read the transcript because it is too long, just watch the video like I did here. He made some serious allegations. I just think it’s something we all should listen to; after all we are the future of tomorrow. God help our beloved country that we are so much in love with. Amen. The transcript and video after the cut.

The General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has prophesied the return of the missing abducted Chibok schoolgirls this year.
Speaking during the church’s crossover service into the New Year on Thursday morning, Bakare told his congregation that Nigeria would enjoy extraordinary grace from God this year, which would see the return of the missing girls, according to a report by Punch.
He said, “The Chibok girls will be returned this year; some people will say ‘they are just using religion to deceive themselves. How will the girls be rescued?’ You will see. I didn’t say it, it is what God said and I believe it.”
Boko Haram insurgents on the eve of New Year stormed Malari Village in Southern Borno State where they reportedly abducted 40 youths. Only few were lucky to escape.
I thought we have moved passed this. Months after it was passed in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, a bill that criminalizes homos*xual relationships in Nigeria has been signed into law by President Goodluck Jonathan.
The President gave his assent to the bill, which stipulates lengthy jail terms, both for same-s*x marriage and public expression of same-s*x intimacy, despite pressure from local and international social rights and public health advocacy groups.

The National Publicity Secretary of APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed in a statement while reacting to a promise made by president Jonathan that he would institute anti-corruption programmes if re-elected next month, has said even of the president was given 60years in office, he will still be unable to fight corruption.
“Mr. President said he wants to put in place the institutions to tackle corruption before taking on the cankerworm that has almost destroyed the fabric of our society. Pray, whatever happened to the EFCC and the ICPC? Were they not institutions specifically created for the purpose of tackling corruption, but which the Jonathan administration chose to castrate?, part of the statement read.
Popular Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, who heads the Catholic Adoration Centre in Enugu, has begged Nigerians to vote out President Goodluck Jonathan in the forthcoming elections which will take place next month. The Catholic priest said the president was no longer fit to rule, and therefore urged his members to vote the All Progressives Congress candidate, Gen Muhammadu Buhari in place of the president.
The priest who made Goodluck Jonthan the topic for his New Year sermon titled the message “From Good luck to Bad luck.” During his sermon he said, “I love President Goodluck Jonathan and I used to be his ardent fan, but I want good for my people and that’s why I want Nigerians to vote out Goodluck Jonathan and vote General Muhammad Buhari. I don’t care if Buhari is a Muslim and from the North; all I care about is that Buhari can save Nigeria,” he said.
Ironically the priest had also promised to pray for Jonathan before now, when the first lady visited him, but said the sign he got from God shows he was no longer fit to rule the nation.
I think it is a must read, lol. Hopefully no celebrity will reply him openly.
Every January, resolutions are made with conviction, only to be dropped like a hot akara sometime before February as unattainable, or just plain boring. All through last year, we watched our celebrities and critiqued their behaviour. Maybe we shouldn’t have. Maybe we should let them make their own mistakes. Or maybe we should assess celebrity behaviour in 2014 and determine which celebrities could use some suggestions for their New Year’s Resolutions to make 2015 a great year. And that’s just what we’ve done. So Don Jazzy, Cossy, Omos*xy and others, listen up.

“Don’t start in a group. If you know you have it, go all out for yourself. Even if the person is your brother, it’s good to differentiate yourselves. If you have to do it, do it yourself because you get to take your own decisions and keep growing from there,” he said.
Is Presh still upset with KCee? Time will tell.
