According to investigations, his best friend planned and killed him because he became envious that his business was thriving. Another reason police said he killed him for was that, he wanted his friend to forget the N5m he gave him last October to change. It’s a long read, but then, it makes you know you should trust nobody. The deceased family said he was so close to their brother that they sometimes use him to get in touch with him. Really said. Below is how Vanguard reports it.

An average Nigerian is just a political bystander. Many of them don’t know who their local government chairmen and councillors are and what they are elected to do. But let’s forget about the local government chairmen and councillors; they have never been useful to us, anyway. Let’s talk about the ‘bigger fishes’ — the guys in the National Assembly.
The ordinary Nigerian does not have the constitutional authority to vote on appropriations, but the guys in the National Assembly do. An average Nigerian does not set fiscal policy; our representatives in the National Assembly do. The ordinary Nigerian, even though most of their daily activities revolve around money, does not control monetary policy; the guys in the National Assembly do. The National Assembly consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives, made up of 109 senators and 360 members respectively. When both are added up, it gives 469. These 469 people are the 469 problems the country has been plagued with since 1999.
Foluke Daramola in a very fresh interview with Punch has said there’s no more cause for alarm because things are now fine between her husband and his former wife, like wise her and her ex. She said she and her husband have moved on and everyone has allowed that and she believes everyone is happy. She also says her marriage is one that will last forever because it is rooted in Christ. Lastly, she feels hurt when people write negative things about her marriage, but she is glad her husband has always talked her out of the bad mood and she’s glad she has eventually overcome feeling bad about haters. Below is how Punch puts it;
Bimbo Akintola is one of the actresses we are blessed to have in the movie industry. Though she has been keeping it on the low lately, Bimbo is one very good actress we have missed on the scene. In an interview with Ademola Olonilua, Bimbo explains her fashion weakness is the love she has for shoes. She says she has a whole room dedicated to them. Hear her;
My fashion weakness is shoes. I don’t know how many pairs of shoes I have but I have a room filled with shoes. The room is dedicated to my shoes alone.
Pass Me Your Love crooner, AY.Com has disclosed the main reason why he was off the music scene. While speaking to Saturday Beats, AY said he left the music scene in order for him to get to know his wife better and raise his kids. He also spoke about his relationship with Terry G then and how they relate now.
“I am a family man and marriage is totally different from courtship. It is a lifetime union. I was away from music so that I could get to know my wife better. Marriage was one of the reasons I was away from the limelight. Raising a family requires a lot of attention and that is what I am giving my family. I have two children now. I had to train them to a level for them to know their wrong from right. I had to make sure my home was stable before I went back into music. I had to give my home the attention it deserves because my family is very important to me. If my home is not settled, there is no way the music would be settled. I give God the glory that my family is settled.”

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Lagos, Mr Jimi Agbaje displayed his poor understanding of governance, inexperience and lack of ideas to improve the lot of Lagosians at an interview on Channels Television. At best, Agbaje succeeded in convincing viewers that he actually does not have a plan to solve the problems he says Lagosians are faced with. He was at his evasive best during an interview session on a Channels TV programme, Straight Talk With Kadaria.
The interview seemingly went on well until Mr. Agbaje was asked to clear the air as regards the irregularities and rigging issues that surrounded his emergence from the PDP primary elections. After all attempts to evade the question Agbaje ended up with an unconvincing retort. He fumbled further by giving bland answers when questioned about his plans and programmes for Lagos state, answers that were far short of bold.
Yeah she gave it to him like he deserves it, lol. You don’t call no one a h** especially when your woman is in that line hahaha. So after Kanye said he had to take 30 showers after dating Amber Rose to be finally ready for Kim K, Amber has fired back at him tonight saying, but Kim let Ray J hit it!! Here’s what Kanye said initially and below is what Amber just tweeted.
“She’s just soaking in the moment. If Kim had dated me when I first wanted to be with her, there wouldn’t be an Amber Rose. It's very hard for a woman to wanna be with someone that's with Amber Rose. I had to take thirty showers before I got with Kim," Kanye said.

Rev. Uma Ukpai of Victory Cathedral Fellowship Center, in Akwa Ibom, has announced to his church members yesterday that members who are yet to have their PVCs will not be allowed to have communion again in the church, except they present one. Ukpai said that, this election is too important for a Nigerian of voting age not to participate in it. Below is what he said;
“The 2015 general election is too important for a Nigerian of voting age not to participate in electing their political leaders for the next four years. If you are a true member of this fellowship and you have not collected your PVC, know that you will not partake in our communion service. We must take this election serious because we must rise up and protect our future.”
If you watch this video, then you will believe Nigerians are truly suffering. This video was recorded on 17th of February, 2015 in Ikeja, the capital of Lagos State. I live in Lagos too, but I have never seen such a situation in my life. They say it even happens every day, especially when people close from work. In the video, it showed how Nigerians risked their lives by jumping in front of a moving train trying to lobby to hang around the fully occupied train. It breaks my heart. Never knew this could ever happen in Nigeria, at least not Lagos. It looks like something CNN shows from world suffering countries. It’s really heart breaking. May God change the situation of Nigeria. Please continue..
PDP Governorship aspirant, Jimi Agbaje has urged the Lagos State Government to pay Doctors threatening to go on strike, saying it is their right because they worked for it. Agbaje says Lagos is a mega city that cannot allow its health practitioners be on strike. Here what he said in a statement released by his Media Aide, Mr Remi Adefulu.
“My heart bleeds over this avoidable strike because I find it unbelievable that the state is making the poor masses suffer unduly due to a minor issue like salaries, which is the right of every worker. Government the world over is about the people, but are the people not the ones suffering?. Something urgent should be done by government to alleviate their sufferings and prevent avoidable deaths. Let me assure Lagosians that hope is on the way, as our administration knows the importance of a healthy people to national development. As I have said repeatedly during our campaigns, our administration shall introduce a free health insurance scheme that would be beneficial to Lagosians and service providers. The system is working all over the world, and our people deserve to benefit from this globally-acclaimed best practice in the health sector,” he said.
Former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Bode George has said he prays former president Olusegun Obasanjo won’t end like Saul in the bible. In an interview published by Vanguard, George was asked about his opinion on Obasanjo leaving the party and what he thinks about him tearing his card while he left. George says it’s unfair because Obasanjo has benefitted a lot from PDP. When his businesses were down, he was called in and was helped, George explained. I really don’t want to insult an elderly man, because in Yoruba land it is wrong, George cautioned himself in the interview as he tries not to insult the elder statesman. Continue…

President Jonathan has assured Nigerians today during the commissioning of four warships in Lagos that the rescheduled elections will hold on March 28 and April 11. He says security issue which was the major reason it was postponed is currently been sorted as our military now have upper hand over the insurgents and are taking charge in the North. Here’s what he said while commissioning the warships;
“So, Nigerians can see that the present administration is leaving no stone unturned to improve the capacity of our armed forces, not just the Navy but also the Army and the Air Force. We have built sufficient capacity. And let me also use this platform to promise good country men and women that we would rout Boko Haram. Our capacity has increased sufficiently and our officers and men are doing wonderfully well in the North.
“And we must conduct our elections as scheduled by INEC, because within this period we are convinced that we will return the North to the level where the activities of extremists will not affect our elections. They are working hard day and night and I directed that Nigerians should be briefed regularly.”
A Borno-based Pastor, Kallamu Musa-Dikwa has said the allegation raised against President Jonathan and his party by the Governor of Rivers State that the president bribed some Christian leaders in the country in order not to support Muhammadu Buhari is true. According to him, in fact Gov. Amaechi made a mistake by saying the sum of the bribe was N6bn, while it was actually N7bn. Read the report after the cut.
More facts appear to be emerging on the allegation by Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, that President Goodluck Jonathan gave pastors across the country N6bn to vote against the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari(retd.), in the presidential election.
Governor Ibikunle Amosu has expressed his excitement about former president Olusegun Obasanjo leaving PDP. Amosu who was accosted yesterday at INEC’s office in Ogun State says he will be happy if other people are willing to join his party, APC, stating that the more people that joins, the merrier it becomes. Lol. His words;
“You do not expect me to be talking about what our revered elder, Chief Obasanjo did. He is more than qualified and competent to talk for himself and to decide for himself. For me, if you talk about people working with us, joining us, I am happy; the more the merrier. We will always benefit from people coming to join us. I am happy but I think Baba made his position very clear. I cannot even assist him. He is the person that can speak for himself and as people can see, he didn’t leave anybody in doubt.”
Thousands marched through Burundi's capital today in one of the largest demonstrations in recent years after the release of a popular journalist and government critic from jail, months ahead of key elections. Vast crowds singing and dancing filled the streets of Bujumbura a day after Bob Rugurika, director of the popular independent African Public Radio (RPA), was released from prison on bail.
There was no official figure for how many people who took to the streets, but residents said the mass rally of tens of thousands was the largest they could remember.
Yaken, now 22, lived in Egypt with his parents and was trained like every other child. But last year Yaken left home, abandoning his fitness job that he had dreamt will bring him wealth and pretty women to join ISIS men on Syria battle field. His parents are heartbroken and other family members wonder why he would leave his dreams behind to join such a group.
During the last Ramadan in July, Yaken took to his twitter page where he posted a photograph of himself kneeling beside a decapitated corpse on the killing fields of Syria, with the caption “Surely, the holiday won’t be complete without a picture with one of the dogs”, referring to the corpse he knelt beside.
