Kristen Stewart Reveals How She Felt While Dating Pattinson

Kristen Stewart has opened up about her relationship with Twilight Saga co-star Robert Pattinson and why it had to end.

The couple dated for five years but she eventually found their romance - which hit the rocks when she was unfaithful with her Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders - stopped being 'real life' and became 'entertainment' for people.

'People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product,' the 26-year-old dished to The New York Times' T magazine in an interview for its Fall Women's Fashion edition cover shoot.

'It wasn't real life anymore. And that was gross to me. It's not that I want to hide who I am or hide anything I'm doing in my life. It's that I don't want to become a part of a story for entertainment value.'

The actress who is dating visual effects producer Alicia Cargile admitted she is more open about speaking about her personal life these days because she wants to do something 'really positive' by discussing same-sex relationships.

'I would never talk about any of my relationships before, but once I started dating girls it seemed like there was an opportunity to represent something really positive. I still want to protect my personal life, but I don't want to seem like I'm protecting the idea, so that does sort of feel like I owe something to people.'

And Kristen who has been with Alicia on and off for three years - gushed, 'I love her so much.'
