On the day the little girl was discovered, Whitworth, 44, flew to Nairobi in Kenya, before travelling on to Uganda.
She was arrested on 9th of March this year in a joint operation between Thames Valley Police and the Ugandan authorities.
Two weeks before she was detained, Thames Valley Police had offered a £10,000 reward to try and track her down.
Appearing at the Old Bailey from Bronzefield prison, Whitworth, wearing a lime green T-shirt with a black pattern pleaded guilty to murdering her daughter on 15 May 2013.
Mr Justice Saunders said she will be sentenced on October 4th when she faces a life sentence.
