People Linking The President To The BUHARI DOG SAGA Are Ignorant - Shehu Garba

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu has said people linking the President to the BUHARI DOG saga are only ignorant people. He says the president enjoys cartoons and even those they make with his pictures as it most of the time gets him ‘excited’ making himlaugh and laugh. He advised people to find out about the true story of the dog saga and stop linking it to the President. What he wrote;

I am thinking of saying, using my own handle that people linking the President to this dog incident are just displaying their ignorance of the type of person he is.

He enjoys cartoons and likes sharing them. The ones he enjoys the most are those that caricature him. It is cheap and sensational to say he can order a police action against a caricature. When he picks a paper, the first page he reaches for is the cartoon page. He laughs and laughs.

The President must be having a good laugh over this whole thing.

People should listen to the real story behind this dog incident and to not waste precious time seeking the hand of the President in a laughable incident!

  4. The Presidency, apart from Osinbajo and his aides is very ignorant indeed. Shehu Garuba should resign for this shameful comment because most people are not ignorant of the excesses of Buhari and his herdsmen and dog Buhari saga. Of course he cares more for cows than dogs.

  5. Thank you. It is not the act of naming his dog that Mr. Chinakwe was arrested for but for his provocative postures and excesses
    which are criminal, i.e. inscribing the dog's name on the dog, which is unacceptable to advocates of animal welfare
    and walking the dog with 'Buhari' written on it within the Hausa community in that area. That act was meant to foment trouble,
    incite and provoke people to violence. If the dog had stayed in his house with the inscription or he walked the dog without
    the 'Buhari' inscription, very few people would have know about the dog. People need to get the true story first before apportioning blame.
