Bayelsa State Fasts, To Hold Thanksgiving Tomorrow

A statement by the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Bayelsa State, Mr. Jonathan Obuebite, yesterday said the State Government has declared Monday, October 31, and Tuesday, November 1, 2016 as fast and thanksgiving days to appreciate God for keeping the state afloat despite the economic recession in the country.

The people of the state are expected to fast from 6am to 6pm.

The state also declared tomorrow, Wednesday, November 2, as a public holiday to commemorate its Annual Thanksgiving Day.
