Karen Matthews was jailed for eight years in 2008 after faking the kidnap of her own daughter, nine-year-old Shannon.
Now the 41-year-old has reportedly told a friend she wants to change her appearance in a bid to stop people recognising her.
As reported in The Mirror, Matthews wants to get plastic surgery to make her nose smaller, allegedly telling her friend: 'I was walking along the main road and someone shouted, 'Look at that nonce,' and I said, 'Get a life.'
Shannon Matthews was found drugged and tethered inside the base of a double bed in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, because her mother and accomplice Michael Donovan were desperate to grab £50,000 in reward money.
They had planned to release the schoolgirl, 'discover her' then take her to a police station and claim the reward before splitting it 50/50.
However, the pair's horrific crime was discovered by police and Matthews, a mother of seven, and Donovan were jailed for eight years for kidnapping, false imprisonment and perverting the course of justice.
Matthews says she has fireworks thrown at her in the street, but says she 'deserves everything she gets'.
She has also claimed she was repeatedly attacked by other inmates while in prison and feels particularly lonely at Christmas when she 'sees other families'.
She said her past has put her off finding love, reportedly telling her friend, 'I'm done with men' - despite claiming she was bombarded with letters from men while she was in jail.
Following her release from prison in April 2012 after serving half her sentence, Matthews is now a teetotal born-again Christian, living on benefits in southern England under a new name and now wants a NEW FACE
