Buhari Extends Vacation...

President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his 10-day vacation. The extension was contained in a three-paragraph statement made available to journalists by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina.

Although he said Buhari had already dispatched a letter to the National Assembly on the extension, he did not specify the duration of the extension. The statement read, “President Muhammadu Buhari has written to the National Assembly today, February 5, 2017, informing of his desire to extend his leave in order to complete and receive the results of a series of tests recommended by his doctors.

“The President had planned to return to Abuja this (Sunday) evening, but was advised to complete the test cycle before returning. The notice has since been dispatched to the Senate President, and Speaker, House of Representatives.

“Mr. President expresses his sincere gratitude to Nigerians for their concern, prayers and kind wishes.”

  1. You guys are all fools!!!! Nobody is challenging the fact that Buhari is not supposed to have a foreign account but is able to pay for medical treatment abroad. Then there is also the fact that how come he gets to go abroad for medical treatment or even worse for ordinary medical checkups? What is wrong with our doctors in Nigeria? is there not even one Nigerian doctor that is up to his standard? And if h is allowed to go abroad for checkups/treatment, is it not wrong that others do not get to do the same if he is going to say it is b/c he is the president his treatment is paid for by the Nigerian government?
