Anambra Made Lagos What It Is, Whether Anyone Accepts It Or Not- obiano

The Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, has said that Lagos State is what it is because of the impact of ‘Anambrarians’ on the state.

According to him, “Anambra made Lagos what it is” whether anyone accepts it or not. He made the comments during an interview with Channels Television while stating developments in the state as well as his plans for the next four years as he succeeded in his re-election bid after securing a landslide victory over 36 others gunning for his position.

“Before I came in, security was an issue. I came, I saw, I conquered and it’s not a static thing. Security is continuous, so we are moving and we are going to put in more efforts to ensure that the next four years is even far better than they have seen it now.

“I’ll keep awake so that all Anambra people and those living in Anambra can sleep with their two eyes closed.

“I’m not going to drop the ball, my eyes are on the ball. I am working hard to ensure that at the end of my eight years, governors coming after me will not have to depend on FAAC to run the state and that’s what I’m doing in investments. Security is the greatest thing that I have done and it is bringing a lot of people in.

“The greatest thing we want to do is to emulate what the Israelis have done. We have very rich Anambra people all over the world – Anambra made Lagos what it is, whether they want to accept it or not – the taxes that are paid are mostly by Anambra people.

“The development that is going on there, the houses that are owned there – it is the same all over the place but none in the south east. Why? First no security then, now we’ve gotten security.

“So I am emphasizing that this is time to come home and invest. By the way, we have reduced our challenges on investment to almost zero.

Anambra now is the easiest place to come for investment because you sit in a one-stop investment outfit called ANCIPA, headed by many bankers – You get things sorted out in an hour or two – you get your C of O in two weeks if your case is good. If your case is not good, they help you build it or they cancel it as the case may be.”

  6. What does that teach us or what will the Anambrarians that develop Lagos now get in return? Doesn't Obiano know that black slaves developed America and some parts of Europe? Ever since they have been saying it,has it brought reparation?
Broda new guvnor, forget story. Call your men together and develop your state.

  8. That is it, these Igbos need to be taught a lesson, and shown who the true and real owners are.

We, Yorubas need to give them EVICTION NOTICE.
Enough is enough of insults from these ingrates.

All Igbos in the civil services of all states in SW Nigeria need to be purged out.
They have civil services in their various states to go seek for jobs. Why are they in the SW hustling for jobs with our people if they are experts in developing a place?

The numbers of Igbos in our schools in all the entire SW states need to be pegged down to a very minimal level. They all have schools in their various states to attend. When they attend our schools, they prevent some of our people from being educated.

Igbos cannot come down to SW, to go school or be employed while passing insults to us every day. We must stop it, and the only way to stop it is to have a plan to purge them out of our systems. We must purge them out our collective being.

We Yorubas have nothing in common with Igbos.

They all need to move back to their enclave.

We need no Igbos, not even a single one in the entire SW Nigeria,

Imagine what these igbo cockroaches will be telling us today, had the late Azikiwe been allowed to become the prime minister of Western region?

How could these cockroaches come to a place, met Yoruba inhabitants of the place who have living there for centuries, managing and running the place and all of a sudden, these cockroaches are claiming they made or even own the place?

Are these people real? What kind of human beings are these people?

And somebody has been going around, advising that there should a political collaboration between southerners. How could we, Yorubas politically collaborate with these people whose aspiration everyday to assume ownership of what is not and will never be theirs?

It is the same issues when you rent your houses to any Igbo.
The moment you rent your house to these people, they start scheming how they will convert the ownership to themselves.
They will sometimes, also stop paying their rents.

I hope and pray that our political leaders are paying attention to what these Igbo roaches are saying.
I hope our political leaders have a plan to finally put a stop to all the insults coming from Igbos.

The other time they claimed Yoruba’s heritage is no man's heritage and now one silly ass directionless Igbo politician is claiming his own state made Lagos single handedly.
I am sick and tired of receiving insults from these Igbo people, and I am warning them through this medium that enough is enough.

All the things some of my uncles told me about these are all true. You befriend Igbo people at your own risk.
