Bode George Withdraws From Chairmanship Race

Bode George has withdrawn from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chairmanship race.

The former deputy national chairman of the PDP announced his withdrawal from the race at press conference in Abuja yesterday.

He accused the Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike, of insulting the South-west when he said earlier in the day that the region had not achieved much for the PDP. Wike is supporting another candidate, Uche Secondus, for the chairmanship of the party.

  2. Chief Bode George...it is now obvious that you are never wanted by the party...your enemies in the party are the likes of Fayose and Wike who are merely in the party for personal and selfish interest....south-west pls beware of the south-south...According to Wike, south-west is politically irrelevant to PDP...
