Wike Donates N200m To Benue IDPs

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has donated N200m to the people of Benue who were displaced from their homes following herdsmen invasion of their communities.

Wike also called for comprehensive measures to resolve the “unfortunate killing” of Benue people by persons suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.

The governor said the donation was for the purchase of relief materials and medicine for the displaced persons.

Recall he was also at the grave side of over 70 people killed during the unfortunate incident alongside his friend, Benue State Governor.

What are the sources of these donations..... we are always rubbing Peter to pay Paul in Nigeria.. in Western world when you make money the government tax you when you file your tax income such ecxeceses are returned back to the government and they use sources resources to cater for d need of the less privileged.
