but i overheard some of them saying they prefer to sleep on d island for early catch up to make some cool money, some of them have houses n d outskirts which they find ridiculous to bike from like Sango or Iyana Ipaja to VI every morning, so they do this and on fridays they go home, but i think sensible people like them shd come together, rent a boysquarters or container on d island where they can pass d night like a hostel and stl make their money n d mornings...never mind some of these guys r landlords but greed wl not let them think straight, not defending our govt though - that one got screwed up long time ago wt sleepy jona @ d helms
its still lik dat in obalende and mile 12.wat could dey do wen our government hs tured a blind eye 2 d plight of d pple?homelessness is stil d oda of d day in lagos...... anyways, man must hustle, chikena.
My darlyns, even in london and paris, people are homeless and sleep under bridges. Alot of NIgerians in these places are homeless and go to work in the morning from wherever they slept overnight after having a bath or shower in public bathrooms. its just that CNN would NEVER show it.
They are not from Lagos, so? Is that the reason why government shouldn’t provide houses for them? So they can die in cold for all you and government care. Lagos is seen as the land where one can find greener pastures, hence they are here. Stop saying things that you might get judged for.
Terrible
ReplyDeleteThis shouldnt be true, in this country, hmm

ReplyDeleteI agree they might decide to sleep on the streets may be because they live far off, but then most of them don’t have houses.
