Police Investigates Death In PZ Industry

The police today confirmed the death of a 39-year-old worker with Patterson Zochonis Industries (PZ), Ikorodu Branch, Bolaji Sekoni.
Sekoni died on December 9 when a body cream mixing machine he was working with exploded and seriously injured him and another worker leading to his death.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Lagos State, Mr Samuel Jinadu, disclosed that Sekoni’s death was reported by PZ and was being treated as an “industrial accident”.
According to the police, while Sekoni died of the injuries he sustained in the factory shortly after the accident, his injured colleague has remained in hospital and is responding to treatment.
Meanwhile, PZ has said that Sekoni’s death was a great loss to the company and not just to his family, describing him as a hard working staff.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.

  1. Industries in Nigeria are found of this and always buying their ways with the police. Shouldn’t they get the machine serviced regularly? I hate the way those chinco, Japanese or what have you white fulani’s treat Nigerians in their own country.

  2. Blame the government for any ill treatment.

  3. White Fulanis? Serious laughter here.
