  1. Am sorry am not trying to be insensitive BUT is he not part of the poeple chopping naija money? remember fuel subsidy? So many people have hanged themselves and died from sufferring. Even people that have never flown before died today. All of this is a trickle down effect of all the corruption in Nigeria which this man was a part of. The people that steal today, remember tomorrow you will get out of office or your family members will use public services. God be with us all

  11. the first comments of these is poetic and Godly, i congratulate the writer of his or her insight and sincerity,it is dire to the plight of that nation that ,majority of citizens are so ignorant and illiterate, solution to this is divine invention where all the power brokers can all be on a plane that comes crashing down in the middle of the Atlantic, and as far as been sensitive and not speaking ill of the dead, another perfect display of the extreme ignorance rampant in that nigeria, never is speaking the truth speaking ill, so your father the devil will not be punishing any one but you his disciple where yu will be burning in eternal damnation just as you will, continue to reason, speaking sincerely and think pragmatically, its only way to shed hope on the only hopeless situation i know , speaking of the case of Nigeria, so get off your superstitious, fetish ignorant lives and smell the coffee, and know that Nigeria is a great country that will never ever see an iota of its potential until the masses are educated and ignorant fools are rooted from the pearly evil towers, evil beget evil, death is a part of life, injustice is against all that GOD stands for and there nothing more exemplary of Nigeria than injustice, devil worshipper (2ND commenter, u will be dining with your father the devil before anyone will be punished by him, )its God who will bring the book to account, not your master the devil.,the wicked will reap what they sow,and those who serve God will equally reap what the sow, so get out of the darkness get a grip and get some education and exposure.

  12. is the Dr title of the nnpc guy that perished with all the 150 something souls a genuine doctorate,or like most Nigerian corrupt embezzlers they buy or steal the titles to gain some degree of prestige, either way God will be judging them now, so the most crucial lesson is we that remain for a little while longer keep our eye on the ball that the ticker ticks and soon we also will be unable to defer answering for all our deeds, as for been sensitive about the dead, don't ever compromise the truth for death or love.peace and here's to all those who live like they will be held to account ,because they got it right ,because they will be.

  19. if some ppl dont have constructive comments to make case in point first poster keep your trap shut and look for something constructive to do with your time.

this is the result when the officials charged with health and safety demand or accept bribes to look over pertinent inspections a plane of that size would have exhibited signs before this accident but in our usual nigerian mindset they would be "managing it "
look at the loss of lives
really hope badluck jonathan will have the political will to see the enquiry into the cause of the crash through and bring the relevant people to book

may their souls rest in peace

This should serve as a lesson to all of us especially those who are sitting at other people's success and the success of our nation too, to think twice and know that life shall one day cease to exist unannounced.

Anon 03 June, 2012 13:09; a 22 year old plane isn't so old. BA, Virgin planes et al have planes even older but they are well maintained. We need to get things right in that country.

  25. Of all the riches the families of these deceased have acquired...uhmmmm...death is really a respecter of nobody. Death nor dey fear face sef. I can remember the last time i spoke with DR. LEVI AJUONUMA seeking for his assistance. Well, vanity upon vanity, all is vanity. He bluntly refused to assist me... Now where has everything gone to?
My brothers and sisters, please if we find ourselves in a situation to help others, do not hesitate to do so cos no one knows tomorrow.
Adieu LEVI AJUONUMA, GGM Public affairs, NNPC

  28. Anonymous 03 June, 2012 19:20, if you can't spell, at least use spell check to help you out.
Can we all be sensitive to the dead, and true there are lessons to be learnt from this and Nigeria's corruption knows no bounds, etc, but there is a time and place for everything, and this is the time to stand in silent sympathy and empathy with the family of the departed, not just Livi died in the crash!

  29. Dear Levi, I still can't believe you are gone. I always remember your NTA days such TNT. You were a wonderful presenter, one of those I admired so much. And when you moved to NNPC, I still admired your courage at defending your organization. It's so sad you and others are gone. May God grant your family the fortitude to bear this loss. RIP.
