Yorubas Are Ungrateful People - Ahmadu Ali

Former chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Colonel Ahmadu Ali (rtd) has some harsh words for Yoruba people of South West. According to him, the Yorubas are “ungrateful kind of people,” who do not appreciate what others have done for them. He is particularly pained that the Yorubas do not appreciate what former President Olusegun Obasanjo did for them.

HA we are grateful people

What did Obasanjo do for them? Ali, OBJ's lapdog. Being a lackey has taken this one so far, if not after his army career he should have ended up a farmer.

  6. Fortunately, yorubas cannot be bought. Nobody hated obasanjo as much as the yorubas even when he was in power. When he wanted to go for 3rd term, the yorubas greatly opposed it. If it were to be other tribes they would have supoorted it because he istheir tribes man! What did obj do for the yorubas other than he was just a yoruba president. Look at the way gej is fucking upbig time. Only asari dokubo has come out to say somethings! All them edwin clark and co are just supporting him whether good or bad! Ask them why? They would say he iis from the south-south, and that's where oil is coming from. This man is just vexed because yorubas refused to play ball. From time in memorial yorubas has always been in opposition to the government.

  7. I read his full interview and I kind of agree with some of his view. We have to be sincere but as regards the collective Yoruba, that's bad, ignorant and subjective of him. Again, let every one help me out with this; during OBJ tenure, what great project did he did in southwest. I learn't road to his home town is even bad. Tinubu went through hell with him but God lift him up. If only that Lagos-Ibadan road is an achievement, it's something. People are dying there everyday. So, Yoruba Elders know what they are saying for not appreciating OBJ. Because, if it were from another tribe, they would do a lot of thing in their land.

  10. As a Yoruba person, I do Appreciate & Show my Gratefulness to people that are good to me or people that do good things, people can't be Slaves to OBJ forever, OBJ has tried his best, we need a change in Power, Education, Politics, Sports & so on, Same group of people can't continue to control & dictate affairs of this great nation, lets allow others to contribute to the development of Nigeria! This is not by tribe but by peoples choice, Yorubas are Good, Grateful, Considerate, Loving, Tolerant,Supportive & so on, Sir don't create hatred between Yorubas & other Tribes. Mama B!

  12. I thout peope grow to have common sense,hw can u generalise, did Obasanjo do something for the whole Yoruba Race for u to mention the whole yoruba, you should direct you word to the whom you think ur talking too.And as for the person sayn is father said sure ur father was sleep talking and u also follow him at this stage, then u need to get back to secondary school...

  13. Sir why don't you face the offender instead of generalizing.

  14. Foolish words from the mouth of a fool.

We proud and well educated people who don't let just fall flat on our face just cos we want too.

In short is this not the idiot that was Chairman of PPRA that was used to steal ....

  15. This man is a stupid asshole for generalizing! So cos one Yoruba person didn't treat you well, you feel they are all like that!
I don't blame him. He is absolutely myopic and lacking in education and understanding. Yoruba people are always grateful and even thank you over and over again (Ese ana, ese ojosi) and seek ways of doing you even better again and again for they never forget good done to them.
Mr Man, shut up and sit down like the fool you are!Kmt*

  17. Can anybody pin point what Obasanjo did for his people, are the road, electricity, water and medical facility provided for his people? He provided all this to Hausa and Ibos to make them believe he's working. Ota bridge was there for 8yrs without fixing it not until ACN govt got there, or did he provides job opportunity for Yorubas . All these are physical projects that can be seeing but they were nt but only propaganda.
