The usual causes are high blood pressure and diabetes. Those are two diseases that can be managed but many people don't until it is too late. I have to disagree with you. Our diets of today is way lesser in nutrients and more in disease causing than those of our fore fathers.

Our fore fathers ate straight from the soil and not all these processed foods we have these days that are disasters waiting to happen.

Was processed and packaged foods, canned foods and drinks, nylons(using it to cook), carbonated drinks, fast foods etc in existence in their time? Their own processed foods were traditionally(or manually) done without the food nutrients being tampered with unlike today.

Also most worked in farms, were hunters, warriors etc and had to walk miles to get to their destination thus burning unnecessary calories in the body.

But what do we have today? Sedentary lifestyles; people hardly walk these days. Okada, lifts and so on have hindered that.

I heard that in those days, pregnant women go to the farm and some even give birth right there in the farm.

My guys please for your health, I advise you forgo anything alcohol. Alcohol damages the kidney and affects the liver in the long run.

We need to take our diet and health seriously. About 10yrs ago, all these diseases weren't prevalent, now it's getting out of hand.
