In a statement by the Director General of the group, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, the group stated that it is ready to give scholarship to Daniel up to university level and help him realise his dream of travelling by air legitimately.
According to him, the little boy’s ambition should be nurtured through qualitative education, and the group is ready to give the boy all the necessary support to make his dream a reality.

ReplyDeleteNice move. May God make d boy a better person. I just hope other small boys won't start copying him just 2 get scholarship.
ReplyDeleteGood! I said he needed a sponsor earlier on and luckily, he got one. The boy needs motivation not condemnation. Let's just hope that when all the noise dies down, these sponsors don't fade into thin air... Also let's just hope no more young Nigerian Boys or Ghanaians don't take to the airports and start hanging on Plane windows and wings just to be like this naughty boy. I said Ghanaians because they always try to top Nigerians...
ReplyDeleteHis mother should keep an eye on him if she too is not one of those absent mothers and in a few years time, she will see her son become an aeronautical Engineer, since he seems fascinated by planes, if not, maybe a minister of Aviation where he can even convert one of the planes for his private use lol or like many have suggested, an Academy award winner as the first black James Bond since Hollywood and the world loves a great story with a happy ending.
Good luck to this youngster, I truly wish him well.

ReplyDeleteI think i concur with what i read in Naijanewssweep.com that the granting of this scholarship is utterly wrong and might encourage other like minded boys to improvise other means of committing criminal acts.
