Read President Jonathan's Speech On Facebook

''In 2011, I made a promise to the people of Nigeria that every zone of our great nation would have an international airport. A little over two years to the day I made that promise we are witnessing the inaugural international flight from the Akanu Ibiam International airport, Enugu. As I said during my inaugural address, "the time for lamentation is over; this is the era of transformation". Our rail infrastructure is being brought back on track and expanded; our road networks are receiving attention even as we insist on getting them wider and better. As some of you may have noticed, the aviation sector is being overhauled so as to make flying accessible to the average Nigerian. Let me use this occasion to encourage all patriots to remain resolute in our collective pursuit of development and happiness. We must make progress together and no Citizen, no Community in our Country will be left behind. Our determination to ensure developmental justice in ALL the zones shall remain unshakable. GEJ''

  8. Tell his wife Peshee to channel her energy to help him tweet more often. I don't have a Facebook site and really don't need one. Obama tweets via his press secretary and maybe on his own sometimes, so why can't he?

  20. Jonathan u think u are addressing fool like yourself. We ask you to build houses and roads as by it you may by so creating jobs. But you are buiding airports for people to travel abroads, because u know that you cannot make the inside comfortable for people to live ,then you are building airports for people to leave.b Shame on you and your government. The railway you repair or put in place. Can you and your family travel with it from one Town to the other in Nigeria?Shame on you and your cohorts who will like to convince with vain words in order to win second term election. When u were in South African Nations who haven't half the wealth Nigeria is having, Was their roads, railway system even the so called built airports, were yours in similar could be compared to theirs.Shameless president and shameless people. I am ashame whenever any of my foreign counterparts wish to visit me in Nigeria because of our lack of infrastructure and above all our lack of shame. Shame on you.. Jonathan ,shame on you... Nigerian government

  21. President Jonathan Goodluck, how happy i will be if some one can help me pass this message to you. All we need at the moment is (1)good drinking water, (2) electricity, (3) good roads, (4) good build schools primary and secondary. please president do these fours things first for Nigerians, not airport, the existing Muritala inter airport Lagos we cant even maintain it, the car park project has been abandon for more than five years now, Notting happen on this car park project, the airport is very dirty is like a local village bus station, you did not see any thing wrong with this airport did you? Mr President we don't want to travel any where, make our country better for us to live.
