Right now the baby is here, what is the relationship between you and Dino Melaye?
Relationship? Seriously, I wouldn’t want to talk about it. What is more important is that the baby is alive and I pray to God to give me long life to take good care of her. As I said earlier, she is a gift from God.
Since you don’t care about the baby’s father, how do you intend to raise the girl all alone?
Every mother has good plans for her child, but I don’t think you expect me to start revealing that on the pages of newspapers. I have good plans for her but this is between me and God. He has never disappointed me and I am sure He will not do that now. He has proved to me how mighty and wonderful He is.
Given your experience with Dino Melaye, do you still believe in love?
Why not? The fact that a man breaks your heart does not mean that you shouldn’t pick up the pieces and move on with your life. It won’t stop me from giving my heart to another man. I only need to be careful with the kind of man that I will open my heart to.
In Islam, marriage is not only about s*x, it is about family and helping one another in achieving their goals, which is the attainment of Paradise.
How do you feel about the court judgment that freed Major Hamza Al Mustapha?
With our experience with June 12, I am not happy with the judgment. Perhaps people have forgotten that it was not only Kudirat Abiola that died as a result of the struggle; what of people like Pa Alfred Rewane, Sola Omotehinwa? They were killed. Alex Ibru was shot and he didn’t really get off the effect of the shooting until he died. In the process also, Pa Abraham Adesanya was shot, even though he survived it. Later, the symbol of the struggle, Chief Moshood Abiola, died in mysterious circumstances. It was tragic enough that both husband and wife died in the struggle. The judge said that there was no enough evidence to link Al Mustapha with Kudirat’s murder; so the question remains: who killed Kudirat Abiola? She was gunned down in broad daylight and Sergeant Rogers confessed that he shot her but he got orders from above to shoot her. That was during the regime of General Sanni Abacha and don’t forget, Al Mustapha was a very powerful figure in the government. Supposing MKO died but his wife Kudirat survived, do you think his business empire would just perish like that? That is why it is so painful that the family was left empty handed without justice. I am sure that Chief Gani Fawehinmi would have filed a case immediately Al Mustapha was set free if he was still alive. Unfortunately, those who benefitted from June 12 apart from Dr. Fasehun kept quiet without condemning the judgment. I condemned the judgment immediately even though I don’t have any issue personally with Al Mustapha. I was made by June 12 and if not because of it, there wouldn’t be anything like Oodua Peoples Congress. The election was annulled in 1993 and OPC was formed in 1994. Fasehun was one of the beneficiaries of June 12. How many people knew about Fasehun as a figure in Yoruba before the annulment of the June 12 election?

According to CrimeFacts, instead of the usual jubilation that follow any ruling of ‘discharged and acquitted’, the inmate, Sylvester Obata (not real names); wearing a long face, headed straight for the Prison van that brought them to court, only to be intercepted by a prison guard who reminded him he was free to go home.
To the chagrin of eyewitnesses, Obata said he was going nowhere demanding to be allowed entry into the Prison Van back to prison.
Funke how do you feel now that your marriage has ended after just a year?you must be going through a hard time right now. People are laughing at you.
.......thank you for calling Stella. First of all let me clarify that I have not replied any sms or spoken to anyone on this development before now and neither have I threatened to sue anyone, I do not know who sent out that sms denying that my marriage is over, that was what necessitated me sending out a press release so as not to confuse the public, especially my fans whom I'm so passionate about. I've been unable to pick calls due to my busy schedule on set and I needed to settle down before picking any calls,so you called at the right time.
I will address this issue now and thereafter face my career and try to concentrate on the things i have on my plate at the moment...Yes my marriage has crashed.
Let the people who are laughing at me continue laughing,my job afterall is to make people laugh. Let those who are without sins or mistake cast the first stone.let them continue judging me.God is the overall judge,he is the one i look up to.

Ayo Ola- Muhammed,
“I have been doing shows here and there to raise funds because I am ashamed to beg. Now that the money is ready for the surgery, the only person who is both fit and willing to donate is myself, because several tests were carried before I was considered the chosen one. I consider the fact that this can happen to anybody. (…sobs) If God has placed me in the position to save my brother’s life then it’s a huge opportunity to enjoy God’s favour.
I thought this only happens to people who drink excessive alcohol and who smoke. But my brother neither smokes nor drinks alcohol. Come to think of it, you need only one kidney to live a lifetime, why not give the other to someone else to live again? It’s like having surplus food and watching people go hungry,” De-don said.
De Don presents Comedy Happy Hour on Rainbow 94.1 FM. We wish him all the best.
What do you think are your selling points?
My selling point are my hips. I think Mercy Johnson’s hips are just learning where mine are. I know that I am well-shaped. If you ask me, I have got the best shape in Nollywood. And it is just not my hips alone, my eyes, my legs and my height as a woman all compliment my nice figure.
You may say I don’t have the front but I have the back. The back speaks for me.

A reckless police driver behind the wheels of a van attached to the Festac police station has been accused of hitting a woman and her baby, causing brain damage in the nursing mother.
Several sources related to the woman reported that the accident happened on June 23, 2013 as the police driver sped dangerously against the flow of traffic on a one-way lane along the busy Oshodi-Apapa Road, hitting down the unsuspecting woman and her baby.
An eyewitness said the police corporal seemed to act with drunken disregard for other road users. “As he was driving, he was waving his hand and shouting at drivers who were driving the right way to clear out of the road,” the witness said. “He kept driving that way until he eventually knocked down the woman coming out of the bus with her baby.” Family sources said the badly injured woman and her baby were rushed to the emergency ward at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). Doctors reportedly discovered that she had sustained a pelvic fracture, facial bruises, and brain injury. The baby, Ammarah Anjolaiya, also suffered deep facial cuts and a broken jaw.

I mentioned earlier on my facebook page that I don’t follow Big Brother Africa and that is by choice. A choice I believe lots of people have on their decoders by ignoring or disabling the channel off their bouquet. I align myself with Professor Wole Soyinka’s statement made a few years back that BBA is pervasive and debasing.
Omowunmi Akinnifesi, former MBGN and M.Sc holder from Kings College London is the current cover girl of Y! magazine. We got her to share her reaction to being named the most beautiful woman in the whole wide world, life after the crown and her plans for the immediate future,
When Gwyneth Paltrow was named the most beautiful woman in the world by People magazine, her response was “It’s obviously not true.’’ What is your response to Y! magazine’s decision?
I would say it is a decision that is subjective. I think it’s about appreciating a woman who is probably well educated and beautiful at the same time. To an extent I happen to have both qualities and someone has to be given the title. I don’t think it’s true, I mean so many women are beautiful, the most beautiful are probably in some isolated places that no one has discovered so it’s kind of a tall task. But I am humbled and grateful to be considered but I don’t think it’s true.

The reason? To prevent the lady from charming other men with her beauty. Nearly a month after, Bidemi still writhes in pain at the Gbagada General Hospital, even as Emeka awaits his date with the law. The reporter met the badly burnt lady on her hospital bed and she narrated what led to the sad incident.
“I started dating him last year but my boyfriend is very jealous. I secured a mini-flat in Ayetoro and asked him to join me there.
