Direct Your Protests To Terrorists, Not Government- Jonathan Tells Protesters

President Jonathan in a speech delivered on his behalf by the Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory, Olajumoke Akinjide, to a team of #BringBackOurGirls campaigners, led by former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwezili, has said Nigerians should henceforth direct their protest to Boko Haram terrorists and not the government, urging them to learn from citizens of other countries who do not blame their governments for terrorist acts.

  4. When it's convenient for them, they tell you to learn from other countries. When it's not, they turn a blind eye to progress and development in other countries. Has he learned to act like other presidents? Does he see how other countries are run? You first, GEJ. When you begin to learn, Nigerians will follow suit. Until then, bring back our girls.

  5. Is that the only thing the statement said? To me he should totally stop giving statements as we sensationalise everything for whatever reasons.

  6. I wish the president would refrain from making any comments especially where he is at sea as to words and knowledge concerning certain situations . Same goes for his wife whose freedom of speech should be banned for life . Intelligence is what we crave

  11. Since government is trying its best in bringing back the girls; then the protesters should direct their protests to Abubakar Shekau who seized the girls.

  12. It's official, our president doesn't know what it means to be a president. Is it Boko Haram that swore to protect us or you Mr. president? #SMH

  13. When the so called liars and thieves have sold us to terrorists and cant protect the citizens who elected them into office, why wont we take out our frustrations on them. Goes to show that his government is a failure. If u cant keep your citizens safe I wonder who will be left to vote him into office when the terrorists finish killing.............................Weakling.

  17. Let us be mindful of what bloggers retract and publish all in the name of passing information. The first question would be was this all GEJ said in press conference? Has he been rightly quoted? The truth is this is exactly what BH wants, a country in chaos with itself. However let us continue to seek the face of God to direct our leaders right as clearly if God did not want GEJ on that sit he wont be.
Let us remember how he won the battle against Abacha for us when all hope seemed lost.
