The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress
(APC), Gen Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) has debunked claims that he is in London for
a medical trip, after the opposition party had in several ways proved the
retired general was in London for medical treatment. He maintained that he traveled to the
European City to find “some relative peace”.
“After visiting 35 states and holding town hall meetings in
Lagos, Kano and Abuja and having forced on me six weeks of holidays, I have to
get away from Nigeria to get some relative peace that is what brought me here”,
he told Channels Television London in an exclusive interview.
He added that Nigerians “have been seeing me on the
television, hearing me on the radio; I never had any health problem”. Continue...
“On March 28, Nigeria has a decision to make. To vote for
the continuity of failure or to elect progressive change. I believe the people
will choose wisely.
“I think that given its strategic importance, Nigeria can
trigger a wave of democratic consolidation in Africa.
“But as a starting point, we need to get this critical
election right by ensuring that they go ahead and deprive the zones who want to
scuttle it the benefit of drowning our fledgling democracy.
“That way, we’ll all see democracy and democratic
consolidation as tools for solving pressing problems in a sustainable way, not
as ends in themselves.”
“We will run a functional economy driven by our wide view
that sees growth not in an end by itself but as a tool to create a society that
works for all, rich and poor alike,” he said.

ReplyDeleteMr. Buhari does not make any sense by saying he had to get away from nigeria to get some peace. Just a month to d crucial election, he is there gallivanting across d globe. I don't think Gen. BUHARI is serious about being d President. He should come forward before d Nigeria people and let there be an independent verification of his state of health in Nigeria. Otherwise, all d accusations from d PDP will be deemed d TRUTH concerning his health. Buhari should start anti-corruption with himself

ReplyDeleteHis a foll for saying he travel to London find “some relative peace”.Animal like him. You do not have change to give because you and your families are corrupt. You claim to borrow 27 Million to by presidency ticket and have only 1 Million in your account, why your wife who is charring as self as the first lady of the country donate 135 Million for medico in the same Nigeria you claim to have 1 million. who are you deceiving. Now Nigeria is no place to rest, and you are seeking for people who is in Nigeria to vote for you for change then if you become president all the Nigeria resources you will use it to travel abroad to rest everyday. Animal like you.
