15 Parties, 5 Presidential Candidates Reject INEC’s Card Reader

15 political parties and five presidential candidates today threatened to boycott the general elections scheduled for March 28 and April 11 if INEC plans on going ahead with the use of card readers for the elections.

The concerned parties said the concept of using card readers for the forthcoming elections, has a lot of implications which may negatively impact on the conduct of a credible, free and fair elections.

“If the card reader should develop some technical problems, there is a possibility that the consequences of such development would affect about 40 (forty) or 50 (fifty) per cent of the polling booths nationwide”, a spokesman of one of the parties said.

How we go win single election if we no rig?
We don always depend on rigging to get small voice.
People no dey even consider us at all, na only the big party dem always dey vote for.
We no dey do dis just because dem just share us money, we dey also do am so dat we go at least get some people for there and continue to chop our share of the cake through those people.
Make you too understand now, this na our chop chop market. Dat na why we support The Enemies of Progress Club as na dem fit protect our system of rigging.

  6. That card reader cant work for now......Their must be Network challenges and in some remote village that there is no Data networks coverages and so many other factors....The should have considered this long ago.we dont have a strong network here, instead of all these polooticians to join head and. Make this country a better place with our God given natural resources ,they are busy making mockery of themselves. Now some timid masses will be like yes that is what Lia Mohamend said .Total Rubbish .the idea of card reader is perfect, but it will face serious challenges nw due to our epileptic or dead zone network covarages.
