Bode George Is Not Leaving Yet, Atleast Not Now Until He Leads A Massive Campaign Against APC

For those of you who have asked Chief Bode George to take the next available flight out of the country or make use of the nearest border closer to him, you will have to wait! Chief Bode George is not leaving Nigeria in a hurry. The PDP chief has made it known to Punch that, for APC to have defeated PDP at the presidential level , he will personally be leading a massive campaign against APC in Lagos in the forthcoming Governorship election. George said, APC has ruled Lagos for 16years and the people of the State knows they have mismanaged it, so therefore, this time around there is no going back, because they also want change, using the APC slogan. APC must be defeated, he explained. But never too worry, the Chief is still going, it is just not now. Continue...

“I am here and I will be at the centre of operation. The people of Lagos also want a change and we are going to be here to lead the battle. The battle is on and the people of Lagos want a change and we will ensure that we get it right.

“Lagos people know that this administration has mismanaged their resources. We are not leaving anything undone. We will reach out to the people during the campaigns,” he said.

He also denied he said he will be going on exile now that Buhari has been elected, but admitted he will be going on a very long break overseas to rest for a long period because he needs to focus on writing his autobiography.

“I have been travelling long before now and now I need a long rest. I am 70 and I need to tidy up my memoirs and if you want to do that, you need a lot of time away from all of the hassles. But it does not mean I will no longer be a Nigerian. I have no personal grudge against Buhari or all the other people.

“We are in two different parties with different ideologies and if he is the President, I have no objection and I wish him the best of luck. The break will give me time. Rather than running up and down to Abuja, I will be there (abroad) writing my memoirs and doing other things for myself. Of course I will come back, my mother is still alive. I am not scampering out of Nigeria,” he said.

  4. BG stop making noise and go already. You said would go on exile if APC wins, be a principled man that you say you are and do the honourable thing. Ohh I forgot PDP is a bunch of people without any and obviously cannot be trusted with a delecate state like lagos.

Pls tell us what you and your party achieved in the last 6years that you have been at the centre? That you want to be entrusted with Lagos?

Stop writing rubbish. You should be grateful that Tnubu helped to crush PDP instead of making false and baseless allegations.

  17. I blame Jonathan for granting pardon to this old crook. These people have contributed to the poor state Nigeria is in now, they shouldn't be allowed to have a voice in affairs that affects the populace.

"At the age of 22, I fell in love with my boss, and at the age of 24, I learned the devastating consequences. Can I see a show of hands of anyone here who didn't make a mistake or do something they regretted at 22? Yep. That's what I thought. So like me, at 22, a few of you may have also taken wrong turns and fallen in love with the wrong person, maybe even your boss. Unlike me, though, your boss probably wasn't the president of the United States of America. Of course, life is full of surprises."Not a day goes by that I'm not reminded of my mistake, and I regret that mistake deeply. CLICK THE PRICE OF SHAME to read more

  30. Is he going to write about the time he spent in jail or what? You have never wielded any power of relevant that will make your memoir sell sir. Do not waste your time writing except you are going to use recyclable paper.Y our book is definitely going to the dustbin of history.
