APGA Sacks Party Chairman For Supporting Ambode's Election Bid

APGA is another political party in Nigeria. The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressive Grand Alliance has sacked its chairman, Adeshina Olayokun, for supporting Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s election bid.

The party said it was shocked when less than 10 days to the governorship election, Olayokun openly declared support for Ambode of the All Progressives Congress even though APGA had decided to support the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Jimi Agbaje.

Punch reports that the party in a statement yesterday has appointed Mr. Kayode Alabi as Olayokun’s successor.

  10. APGA (mostly igbos) supported Jimi and are now kicking someone out for supporting Ambode, but the igbos were the first to carry 7 point agenda to the man. Na wah! The love for wahala is amusing.
