When will this madness actually stop? When will these outcasts execute themselves from planet earth? If you say going to school is ridiculous and you can’t stand it, why don’t you just excuse us from earth? It’s that simple, go to heaven the heaven you prefer now.
Attackers on a motorbike threw acid in the faces of three teenage girls on their way to school in Afghanistan's western Herat province on Saturday, an official has told CNN. The girls, age 16 to 18, are students at one of the biggest girls' schools in Herat city, the provincial capital.
All three girls were admitted to Noor hospital in Herat city before their parents took them elsewhere, said hospital head Jamal Abdul Naser Akhundzada. Two of the girls were in critical condition after the acid was thrown in their faces, he said.
Akhundzada quoted the girls as saying that their assailants were two men on a motorbike. "This is the punishment for going to school," the men told the girls after pouring the acid on them, according to Akhundzada. Abdul Rauf Ahmadi, a spokesman for the provincial police chief, said police are working very hard to find the attackers.
A 63-year-old man, Alabi Ibrahim, was on Friday re-arraigned in a court in Abeokuta, Ogun state, and remanded in prison for allegedly infecting his stepdaughter with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus.
Mr. Ibrahim was accused of sexually assaulting the thirteen-year-old.
The director of public prosecution, O. Osunfisan, who stood for the respondent in the case instituted by Child Protection Network, a non-governmental organization, told the court that the accused, according to a medical report, had infected the girl with the virus.

Aliko Dangote is arguably one of the richest men in the world. In an interview with top Nigerian media executives, the soft spoken man explains how five to ten Nigerians can make Nigeria’s economy great if encouraged to invest at home.
“We are building a refinery and our refinery will make more money if there is subsidy. We have changed the size of the refinery three times because we are looking at the maximum we can do that has ever been done. We started with about 400,000, then we shifted to 500,000. Now, we took it to 650,000 barrels per day. That’s the biggest ever single line thresh of refinery. It’s a huge plant and it comes with a lot of challenges, but at the end of the day, it will save us a substantial amount of money. Presently, about 38% of our foreign exchange goes to petroleum products, so I think that will totally eliminate it and eliminate all the imports. We will also be able to export and we won’t do it all by ourselves. Other refineries will produce. Even if other refineries are not working, we’ll be able to satisfy 100% local demand and we’ll be able to export massively. Five to ten people can make Nigeria a great economy. We have to encourage Nigerians to invest at home,” he said.
Victim Of Police Brutality Recounts Ordeal, I Passed Out Severally With Blood Dripping Out Of My Nose
For Justin Nwankwo, a doctoral student of philosophy at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, what he went through inside the cell at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Awka in Anambra State, two years ago, is better imagined than experienced. The brutality allegedly meted to him is like hell on earth.
Narrating his ordeal to Crime Guard, the then Manager of Upper Class Hotel in the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra State, before it was demolished by the Peter Obi administration said: “August 1, 2013 is a day I will never forget in my life, as it marked the beginning of an ugly experience I passed through for three months. It was the day I was arrested alongside 13 others who worked in the hotel I managed while pursuing my educational career.
You Are More Likely To Be Killed By A Police Officer Than A Terrorist In Nigeria! Etcetera Writes On Police
The police is your friend – words of the past, it seems. Today, the police are more about terrorising, bullying and killing for no reason. That Nigerian policemen are out of control is like saying ‘Ijebu garri’ is sour. Some believe that there are still good policemen out there, and I used to admit that quite often, but never again. Well, maybe there are still good policemen out there, doing their job of protecting and serving their pockets every day. The biggest problem is, no one is doing anything about it, even the government.
Hardly a day passes by without stories of a police officer shooting a ‘danfo’ driver because of N50, police terrorising people on the street and asking for receipts for everything, even for the Agege bread in your bag, pulling off people’s vehicle plate numbers for whatever accusations they could conjure up. The crazy thing is that they always try to justify their senseless actions. A prime example of how the police are out of control is how they quickly jump into your car even before you disobey traffic regulations. They don’t even wait for you to beat the traffic light; they are already inside your car, seated with the seatbelt on, like you guys are going on a planned vacation.
The Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, yesterday in an interview with BBC has said the Buhari led Government is not ruling out negotiations with boko haram sect. When asked whether it would work, Mr Adesina replied saying;
“This is going to work. There are machineries being put in place. It’s going to work. The recent killings by the sect were meant to break our resolve, to weaken it, but that will stop. It remains a priority to him (Buhari) to deal with the group.
“You will notice that his first two weeks of administration were dedicated to tackling the insurgency. He visited Chad and Niger Republics and the following week, the Presidents of those countries also visited him in Abuja. The President of Benin Republic and the Defence Minister of Cameroon visited him; machinery is being put in place and once we’re through, we will see the end of the group. The target time for the deployment of the multinational force is July ending; that is in a couple of weeks.”

Labour members today led by the Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress in the State, Mr. Jacob Adekomi, have addressed journalists warning that the plan of the State Governor to slash their salaries from January 2015 has been made known to them and it is unacceptable! They described the act as satanic, wicked and suicidal saying no Government should ever think of that not to talk of imagining it.
“It’s sad to inform the public that government had resolved to cut the salaries of public servants in Osun State by 50 per cent from January 2015 and we want to unequivocally say that it is unacceptable to the entire workforce in the State of Osun. It is satanic, wicked and suicidal for any government to arrive at this position after he had failed in his constitutional responsibilities for the past eight months.
Never will the workers accept this. The situation the state government found itself was a product of its systemic failure and any attempt to cut the salaries of workers in the state by one per cent will be vehemently resisted and will lead to unimaginable chaos,” the chairman said.
The Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has said he will gladly appoint illiterates such as Okada riders, farmers into his cabinet without looking back because they voted massively for him which in turn made him a governor today. Where is Citizen Emeka Benjamin Uche, a Lagos factory worker? That was the big question yesterday as his wife, Ruth, 34, from Abia State broke the news of his disappearance since February. Uche, 39, fled home when he learnt that his expectant wife was carrying a set of twins – the family’s third.
Mrs Uche was at the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa yesterday with her six children, pleading for help. Not many knew what she wanted as she stood under a tree, close to the Press Centre, carrying the babies. Her first two sets of twins, much older, stood close to their mother, and did not in any way seem intimidated by the sea of cameras and faces focusing on them.
Dj Jimmy Jatt has told a Punch reporter he can actually play for gays if the pay is right. He said he has no right to question anyone’s sexuality, but as long as they will be paying, he is game. He further went on to say the only time they will see his red eye, is when anyone wants to make a funny move at him. Loollllllllllll. What he said;
Honestly, I don’t mind playing in a gay bar or performing in a show filled with gays. It is a free world, you know. Why should I bother about anybody’s sexual preferences or relationships? It’s not my business to bother about what they do with their bodies in private or to themselves.
“For me, this is all about business. My job is to provide entertainment and to make people happy. I am neither gay nor bisexual. Everybody knows I am happily married with children. But, if by any means somebody comes to me with any funny intentions, that is when I will make them see the other side of me,” he says.

A Montana has said he was inspired by last week's U.S. Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriage to apply for a marriage license so that he can legally wed his second wife.

Montana, like all 50 states, outlaws bigamy, holding multiple marriage licenses, but Collier said he plans to sue if the application is denied.
"It's about marriage equality," Collier told The Associated Press. "You can't have this without polygamy."

The governor was "dismayed by the blatant falsehood published in the newspaper and has consequently directed his legal team to vigorously enforce his rights to protect his reputation from the vandalism of irresponsible hacks," Aruwan said in the statement.
