Are You Free & Can Volunteer To Take Care Of Baby Goats? Your Help Is Needed!!

A farm in Virginia has placed an ad searching for volunteers
in anticipation of a large number of goat births expected in February. Volunteers
at Caromont Farm in Virginia’s Albermale County can sign up for four-hour
shifts starting on Feb. 7 when the farm anticipates about 90 baby goats, or
kids, will be born.
“Kidding season is fast-approaching here at Caromont
farm and we are looking for helping hands,” the sign-up sheet stated.
“Beginning in early February we will need willing, caring volunteers to
assist in bottle feeding infant goats, keeping the herd warm and dry and
maintaining cleanliness of the equipment and pens.”
The farm makes goat cheese, so while the mothers are milked
volunteers will bottle feed the kids and warm them by cuddling them and having
them wear small sweaters. So are you free?
