27 Children Were Among The 305 Killed In Egypt Mosque Massacre

At least 27 children were among the 305 people killed during a terrorist rampage at a Sinai mosque on Friday, the Egyptian government said as it updated the grim toll of one of the bloodiest attacks since September 11th.

Egypt’s attorney general said that up to 30 gunmen had taken part in the slaughter and that they carried the black banners of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) as they gunned down worshippers during Friday prayers.

Relatives of the victims told The Telegraph that some households in the village of Rawda had lost every single male member of their family. “There is no one in the village who didn’t lose at least one of his relatives,” said Mohammed Sleem, a university student who lost two cousins.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack but suspicion has fallen heavily on Isil’s Egyptian affiliate, known as Sinai Province, which has carried out deadly attacks against Egyptian troops and Christians in the area.

“The prisons service is plagued with inadequate infrastructures, degrading facilities and most especially failure and negligence of the appropriate authority to pay the contractors who are given the mandate to provide food to prisoners.

Why I Am Fully Doing Gospel Music- KSB

Kenny Saint Best has spoken out on why she does gospel music for now saying, saying it is a season and she is glad she's there at the moment. Speaking with Showtime, KSB said;

“Everyone has a season and I’m privileged to know my season. When it was time to write books I wrote them, when it was time to do politics I went ahead to do it. But the season I’m in now is the new age; what I’m doing now is worship, soul music. It’s intentional, because if I’m going to collaborate with mainstream secular acts it’s going to be funky praise and worship and on my own terms, depending on the artiste. There were so many of them I did collaborations with in the past, like Konga and Jaywon”, she said.

My Family Is Intact, Femi Adebayo Speaks

Nollywood actor and one of the best in the Yoruba world, Femi Adebayo has spoken out about his alleged marriage crisis saying his family is very intact. Femi says he and his wife decided to remove their wedding photos from their social media pages when they sensed putting them selves in public could be dangerous and that's how the whole rumours started. Femi said he is happily married and they have remained happy. What he told Saturday Beats below...

“When I read on blogs that my marriage was in turmoil, I was very surprised. The social media is a crazy place but we have no choice but to use it as well because of the nature of our work. The news stories about my marriage are actually not true. My wife and I decided to downplay our romance on social media because we believe that social media could be damaging to marriages and that is the reason why we decided to pull down our pictures. We removed our pictures two weeks before I actually saw the news. To the glory of God, I was at home when the news broke and we immediately did a live video to tell our fans that all is well and the news was coming as a surprise to us. The blogger that actually started the rumour also visited the comment section of our live video to tell people that the news was false. I am not surprised anymore when some false stories are said about me as a celebrity but it is extremely important for people to know that it is better to tell positive stories about celebrities than false and negative stories. Regardless, I am not going to sue the blogger. For the records, my marriage is intact; my family is fine.”
