50 Cent Wins Big In Court

50 Cent just won a huge legal victory when a judge threw out a lawsuit where he was accused of ripping off someone else's work to create his hit show, "Power."

Two guys wrote a play called "Dangerous" which they claimed was eerily like "Power." The story line involved a drug dealer who engaged in violence, launders money and attempts to stave off prosecution.

The court said these are common elements that are in the public domain and "One need only look to such shows and movies as The Wire, Empire, Breaking Bad, Narcos, Weeds, Carlito's Way, American Gangster, New Jack City, Scarface and Paid in Full."

Two things that happened, 50 Cent won big, and the judge sure knows his TV shows and movies.

“Those who believe that I have been silent on the music scene because I had some health challenges might be right. Because of my health situation, I have been in and out of the country. I cannot do music with a poor health and that has been a major factor for me. When I was ill, I never thought that I would recover not to talk about doing music again. Why I Went To Prison- Small Doctor

In recent time, Nigerians have tagged Small Doctor has an ex-convict, saying he was once in prison. But in this chat with Saturday Beats, the rave of the moment has made it clear that he was never an inmate but only visited the prison yard to entertain inmates and here's why.

“It is true that I was a bus conductor and a commercial motorcyclist. I also hawked sachet water but I thank God for the gift of life now because I am one of the most sought-after artistes at the moment. I just feel that there is no limitation to what anybody can achieve in life. Those locked up in prisons are human beings too and that is not the end of their lives, so I decided to reach out to them. Also, my colleague, Lamboginny, reached out to me and said he wished we should go to the prison and perform for them, so I gladly agreed. I have never been a prisoner and I laughed when I learnt that people thought I was once an inmate because of this gesture. I just feel we should always put a smile on the faces of other people regardless of any situation they are facing in life.”
