Letting My Daughter Attend Varsity Very Emotional - Mercy Aigbe

A-list actress, Mercy Aigbe, has confided in Sunday Scoop that letting her 17-year-old daughter, Michelle, attend university in another country is very emotional for her. She said, “Her absence hasn’t really been easy.

We’ve been together for 17 years before she had to go to university. Letting her go is very emotional for me. I still miss her a lot. She’s a big girl now and she’s starting her own journey in life.

I have brought her up well; I have inculcated the values I want her to live by in her. I have given her the foundation and I wish her the best. She’s always in my prayers. It’s just painful that after university, she’ll probably get married.”

Sharing tips on her beauty regimen, Aigbe said, “I try to live a healthy lifestyle. I try as much as possible to stay away from fatty foods and I drink lots of water. I eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. I know this may sound cliché but that is how I’ve been able to look younger than my age. I also exercise when I have the time to because I’m not able to do that as much as I would have liked because of busy schedule. Anytime I’m free, I jump on the treadmill and burn some calories.”
