Meghan Markle Is 'Reading Up On Hypnobirthing And Could Have Baby At Home'

Meghan Markle is said to be swotting up on 'hypnobirthing' and may even have the child at home.

The pregnant Duchess, 37, is believed to be about five months pregnant with her first child.

It is not thought she will be having the baby at the Lido Wing in London like the Duchess of Cambridge did.

Meghan,  an avid yoga and fitness fan, has been reportedly drawing up plans for a nursery in Frogmore Cottage, her and Prince Harry’s new home, and a “mother-in-law suite” for her mum, Doria Ragland.

Doria, 62, will be a very hands on grandmother, it is believed, and has encouraged Meghan to have a natural childbirth using hypnobirthing techniques for pain management rather than drugs.

These pain relief methods can include meditation, relaxation and visualisation.

According to Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent Katie Nicholl there is “some talk” of a home birth.

A source also said: “Doria plans to be around a lot when the baby arrives, and there are plans for her to have a dedicated space at their new home.

“She wants to be on hand to help Meghan and Harry with the baby.

“Doria will be involved and if she's involved she will be encouraging Meg to go for a natural birth.”

During her recent trip to Australia Meghan told fans that she was practising yoga to keep her energy up.

Doria is in fact a yoga instructor and Meghan has previously said that “it is in her blood”.

Meghan’s birthing choices will very different to Kate’s.

Kate, 36, had all three of her children, George, five, Charlotte, three, and Louis, seven months, in the private Lido Wing at St Mary’s hospital in Paddington.
