Beyoncé looks fierce in glittering dress to The Lion King premiere (photos)

She's one of the biggest names attached to The Lion King, and voices the iconic lioness who urges Simba to take back his throne.

But Beyoncé shared the spotlight as the attended the premiere of the live-action film on Tuesday, and put family first.

The songstress, 37, arrived to the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood with her seven-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, holding hands and even wearing matching black skirts.

Beyoncé, who plays Nala in the film, exuded glamour and royalty as she worked the red carpet in an edgy black Alexander McQueen mini dress paired with a sheer, cascading black skirt that put her legs on display.

The sparkling black mini emphasized Beyoncé's curves while flashing some cleavage.

Blue Ivy looked like a budding fashionista as she wore a flowing black skirt like her mother, along with a bedazzled jacket, flats, with her hair styled into two buns.
