Kate Middleton and Prince William arrive for baby Archie’s private christening

Prince William and Kate Middleton have today arrived in Windsor for baby Archie's christening as royal fans lined the streets.

The doting aunt and uncle drove themselves to the event - among the small crowd invited to see the eight-week-old son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to be christened.

Little Archie will be christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury at Windsor Castle, in front of a close group of just 25 friends and family.

The seventh-in-line to the throne will be baptised in a spectacular £11,000 Lily Font and christened in the same royal gown Kate Middleton's children wore.

And the Duchess of Cambridge made sure to give a sweet nod to her nephew - wearing blue for the little boy for today's service.
