Man 'murders teen girlfriend after another man sent her a photo of his p-nis'

Arggg! An abusive boyfriend murdered his teenage girlfriend after she received a picture of another man's p-nis, a court heard.

Natasha Hill, 18, suffered more than 50 injuries at the hands of 32-year-old Scott Clifford, a prosecutor told jurors.

Neighbours heard screams coming from Clifford's grandfather's home in Thamesmead, south-east London at around 3am on April 15 last year.

But Clifford waited more than an hour to call an ambulance, ringing the emergency services at 4:19am, the court heard.

Jurors have heard Clifford brutally attacked Ms Hill after another man sent her a picture of his p-nis.

Pathologist Dr Robert Chapman said: "The period of post-injury survival was probably within the period of at least one hour, if not a couple of hours.

"The injury appeared likely to be caused by heavy contact with some firm, solid surface."

Clifford initially told police that Ms Hill had fallen over before stumbling down the stairs.

Dr Chapman told Southwark Crown Court: "I think the injury is likely to have led to unconsciousness although there is a period where she may have remained lucid."

He showed the jury a series of bruises found on the victim's neck, which he suggested could have been consistent with finger marks.

Clifford, of Thamesmead, south-east London, denies a single count of murder.

The trial continues.
