Wendy Williams's son walks free from court with his father whom he had 'punched' during a heated row

Wendy Williams's son walked free from court Tuesday supported by his father who he allegedly punched during a heated row, after a judge dropped the charges.

Kevin Hunter Jr. was pictured arriving at the New Jersey courthouse with his dad Kevin Hunter Sr. The pair later left the court together, confirming the case had been dismissed with Hunter Sr. not wanting to pursue charges.

Talk show host Wendy did not join her son, 19, and estranged husband, 46, for the hearing as she was filming her show but the family are said to be presenting a united front in the wake of the allegations.

A picture from inside the courtroom showed the two men side by side.

Hunter Sr. told the judge: 'I love my son.'

Outside the court the father and son, wearing a white shirt and trousers, walked together and did not respond to questions about their relationship.

But Hunter Jr's lawyer Raymond Hamlin said everything was 'all good, all great', when probed.  He told TMZ: 'They are laughing, talking and reminiscing. Their relationship is solid.'
