Nigerian transgender set to compete in a beauty pageant in Ghana (photos)

A Nigerian transgender is set to compete in a beauty Pageant in Ghana.

Veso Golden Oke, 25, will be competing with other people born as women. According to reports, she is now officially recognized as the first transgender allowed to compete in a beauty pageant in Africa. If she wins, she will represent Ghana at Miss Europe Continental in Italy.

Veso who works in Ghana has the support of her parents.
