Murderer is jailed for life for brutal r.a.p.e and killing of South African student

The monster who brutally r.a.p.e.d and murdered a university student which so outraged the Duchess of Sussex that she tied a ribbon to her shrine has been sentenced to life behind bars.

The merciless killing of Uyinene Mrwetyana, 19, made huge headlines across South Africa shortly before Prince Harry and wife Meghan were due to visit the country on a royal tour.

Tens of thousands of women went on protest marches up and down the country demanding a stop to gender based violence and an end to the rape and murder of young girls and women.

So moved was Meghan at the outrage caused by Uyinene's savage death that she paid a private pilgrimage to the post office where she was murdered and had become a shrine to her.
