Man stabbed to death after leaving his house to go and settle a fight at a beer parlour

A man simply identified as Ifeanyi has died after leaving his own house to settle a fight. According to an eyewitness, the incident happened yesterday at a beer parlour in Alausa, Lagos state.

A man at the beer parlour was said to have  attempted to smoke a substance locally known as Jedi, but the beer parlour owner kicked against it and it led into an argument which soon turned into a fight.

Ifeanyi was said to have come to settle the matter. While asking for peace to reign, the customer left the bar. Angered by this, the bar owner rained curses on Ifeanyi, saying his intervention made the customer abuse him in his own office. He then allegedly stabbed Ifeanyi in the neck, chest and stomach. Ifeanyi died on the spot.

Police officers were then alerted and Ifeanyi’s alleged killer was arrested.
