Part of a cafe and hotel collapsed into a river as Storm Ciara continues to batter the UK.
Shocking footage from Hawick, Scotland, showed the Bridge House Guest House start to give way as bystanders shouted out in disbelief.
Half of the back of the building then completely crumbled into the fast-flowing River Teviot below, leaving several rooms exposed.
An alarm could then be heard blaring from inside the remains of the building, as voices behind the camera couldn’t help but swear.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 9.30am this morning after hearing reports of structural damage.
They said the building had already been evacuated before the collapse, and there were no reports of any injuries in the incident.
