Travis Scott and Drake could face legal action after the tragic deaths of eight of their fans.
The eight victims were attending the first night of the ill-fated Astroworld Festival in Texas on Friday night when they lost their lives.
Hundreds more were injured when a surge in the crowd caused a stampede, and there have also been reports that people were unknowingly injected with drugs from someone in the crowd.
The youngest person to die was just 14 years old.
It’s reported that Travis and Live Nation are being sued by a man named Manuel Souza, who claims he was injured at the concert.
He’s said to have filed a lawsuit at Harris County District Court on Saturday, the day after the tragic events.
He is alleging negligence and gross negligence from Travis, Live Nation and others he has listed as defendants.
The documents obtained by Billboard say Souza claims the tragedy was “predictable and preventable”.
He claims there were warning signs earlier in the day that should have been red flags to festival organisers, but that they went ignored.
He alleges that people stampeded their way into NRG Park when the festival first opened, with fans allegedly climbing over security gates and trampling over others to get in without tickets.
Souza alleges nothing was done about it and that organisers made an effort to let the show go on despite evidence that people were in distress.
A second lawsuit has been filed against Travis – who is expecting his second child with girlfriend Kylie Jenner – Live Nation, and Drake.
