Queen Naomi’s alleged separation from Ooni-of-Ife not true — Palace

The queen of Ooni of Ife, Naomi Silekunola Ogunwusi has announced her separation from the monarch, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

Queen Naomi announced the decision on her verified Instagram page citing irreconcilable differences between the duo.

Following the rumoured separation by Queen Naomi from the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Enitan Ogunwusi, the palace has faulted the claim saying “it is not true.”

When contacted, the Ooni’s Director of Media and Public Affairs, Moses Olafare told Vanguard that “this is not the first time such rumours had been peddled.

There was a time it was reported that she left the palace and the next thing, she gave birth. So, the story is not true and it should not be taken seriously.”

  1. I have said it, I’m repeating it again that it’s time we Yorubas do away with the Monarchy system. The system is outdated, corrupt . Chieftaincies ,titles, are given to undeserved ritualists. They the Kings are ritualist too. All they do is party, marry young girls, (something they could’nt do if they are not Kings because some of them are ugly looking). They have lots of children from their many wives To cut to the chase, They can bark not bite. They are worthlessness.

  2. I don’t think it’s true. The Queen may be pregnant again. The last time all those rumors were peddled, she came back with a baby. She might come back with another baby again this time. It may be true She has left the palace but that may be a tradition being practiced when the Queen becomes pregnant but nobody must know why.
