The abducted Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture, Alwan Ali-Hassan, on Wednesday, regained freedom from his abductors.
Ali-Hassan was one of the passengers of the ill-fated Kaduna-Abuja train.
He was kidnapped alongside over 100 passengers whose train was bombed by bandits.
A family source told Daily Post in Kaduna that the BOA boss was released on Wednesday after paying an undisclosed amount as ransom.
Although, there was no confirmation from the government, a staff of Bank of Agric said he was released, but did not disclose the amount paid as ransom.
